With the new mono blocks CS-845M drives Cayin two, also in the design perfectly on the likewise new preamplifier Cayin CS-6LA tuned cars on. Their 300B tubes in the driver stage, in conjunction with the 845 endpipes, mobilize a high single-ended output of 28 watt Class A per channel. Each mono block uses a TUNG-SOL 6SL7 and 6SN7GTB tube as a voltage amplifier. The Russian TUNG-SOL tubes used are perfect for high quality audio applications. The tube amps sound soft and warm without falsifying the sound. Externally accessible controls and display via the integrated meter allow the user to easily adjust the optimum operating point of the 845 tubes. Cayin developed two different transformers for use in the CS-845M top mono blocks: a toroidal transformer, which has a high inductance and low resistance allows high efficiency in the power supply. The EI transformer of the output transformer uses a special multi-layer winding process to achieve particularly balanced and realistic sound.

Outwardly, too, shows the high standards of the Cayin CS-845M mono blocks. Their high quality aluminum panels convince with strong oxidation resistance and low surface light sensitivity. The process of manual case painting is time consuming, but this results in a mirror-smooth and fine surface with uniform color and gloss.
