The Cayin HA-300 was developed as a two-piece tube amplifier specifically for high-quality headphones. He can supply not only via jack sockets, but also via balanced 4-pin XLR connectors. Its external power supply has an elaborate circuit with four rectifier tubes and ensures a constant equal voltage for all gain stages. This power supply concept delivers absolutely clean performance with minimal interference to the signal amplification of the main amplifier.

As one of the largest tube amplifier manufacturers in the world, Cayin develops and builds its own transformers, ensuring that even the smallest details are taken into account. The output transformer of the HA-300 is specially wound for the characteristic of the 300B tube to supply three impedance-matched outputs with 8 to 64Ω, 65 to 250Ω and 251 to 600Ω. This fits the amp to a variety of headphones. If required, however, the Cayin HA-300 also powers two loudspeakers with 2 x 8 watts Class A – ideal for sounding the whole room if necessary. The special position of the Cayin HA-300 is also expressed in the high-quality finish with thick aluminum front panels. The two VU meters give the roughly 30 kilo heavy Pretiosen a nostalgic touch.
