The Cayin Jazz 100 proves that classic tube circuitry and versatile application possibilities are not mutually exclusive. Various analog sources can be connected to the three classic RCA inputs, which are easily selected using the included remote control. The massive IR signal transmitter also offers volume control from the listening position and a mute function.
The Jazz 100 also features a built-in Bluetooth receiver for direct wireless playback of digital signals. With Bluetooth 5.0 and high-quality codecs such as AAC, aptX HD, and LDAC, high quality is guaranteed even with wireless playback. A full-size headphone output on the front panel drives virtually all commercially available headphones.  VU meters on the front panel display the current power levels of both channels and give the Jazz 100 a timelessly technical look.

Adaptation to sound, impedance and taste

The Cayin Jazz 100 not only offers a sensational-sounding single-ended power amplifier stage, it can also be uniquely customized to the connected speakers and the user’s preferences. Different taps on the output transformer, with dedicated terminals for 4 or 8 ohms, allow for optimal adjustment of voltage reserves, current delivery capacity, and damping factor to suit either high- or low-impedance speakers.
The design of the negative feedback circuit can also be tailored to the connected speakers or the listener’s taste, with the 805A power tubes operating either with high negative feedback and maximum control or with minimal negative feedback and maximum musicality. The bias voltage for each tube can be optimized with a trimmer; the left-hand dial serves as a simple indicator for optimal adjustment. An additional control, the so-called “hum balancer,” minimizes hum in individual setups.

If you want to further customize the sound of the Jazz 100, you can replace the 6L6 driver tubes with compatible models such as EL34, KT88, or similar.
